Dhana Dharna Samadhi
I believe yoga transforms you to see the possibilities within and around you. It uplifts you in spiritual way.
It shows in my art works from sad and gloomy women to colourful butterflies towards Buddha, dhan dharna samadhi.
I can see myself grow and feel complete and calm inside. We have a higher destiny than living only to pleasure our senses. Striving to be comfortable but not only in body, nourish the spirit too. The good life is an integration life where body, mind and soul are in perfect harmony. It is the duty of everyone of us to go beyond transient attraction and seek out this holistic balance to bring beauty and purpose to our lives.
My current works are based on the concept above. They are concepts used to describe how apparently opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected and interdependent in the natural world and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.
Many tangible dualities (such as light and dark, high and low, hot and cold , fire and water, life and death, male and female, sun and moon and so on) are thought of as physical manifestations of the duality of yin and yang .
For me Yin Yang thought of complementary in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts . Everything has both Yin Yang aspects (shadow cannot exist without -light) either of the two major aspects may manifest more strongly in a particular object, depending on the criterion of the observation, for me it’s BALANCE. Where I am balancing my Yoga and Art.
Life is a balance of knowing when to hold on and let go.
